What's your favorite or most rewarding part of working for Nestlé Purina?

Knowing that I have found a company that fits me and has a strong, ethical culture is my favorite part of working at Nestlé Purina.

How has Nestlé Purina helped you grow professionally?

Through the Supply Chain Trainee Program the company has displayed a strong focus on my professional development. With each functional area I have received exposure to daily business practices while being challenged to display my understanding with comprehensive continuous improvement projects.

If you knew then, what you know now, what's one piece of advice you would give to someone coming into the company?

You never know who you will meet or what you may have to do each day. Come to work prepared for anything.

What's something about working with Nestlé Purina that has surprised you?

I was aware of the company’s employee development programs, however, I did not know how much they are a part of the culture. I know that as long as I seek the opportunity I will always be challenged.

What are some perks at Nestlé Purina that you enjoy?

The ability to have a successful work life balance is one of the many things I enjoy about working at Nestlé Purina.

Tell us about your pets.

I consider my family member’s pets my pet. Kirby: A West Highland Terrier who has more energy then I have ever seen in a dog. Max: A Golden Retriever who will always be a lover and never a fighter. Kahne: A Labrador Retriever whose life is complete each time he has a ball to chase. Jake: A Cockapoo who is always up for a free table scrap.

What items in your office could you not live without?

Without question, my coffee mug

What’s your favorite place in St. Louis to relax and unwind?

Bailey’s Chocolate Bar… the low key and relaxing atmosphere is great!

If you weren’t doing your current job, what would you be doing?

If I was not currently working at Nestlé Purina I would be operating a coffee shop deep in the Rocky Mountains.

How has Nestlé Purina PetCare Company helped you grow personally?

The strong mentorship I receive at Nestlé Purina has challenged my skill set. These mentors have recognized when I reach my comfort level and continually push me further and further successfully.
