What made you choose to work for Nestlé Purina? What makes you stay at Nestlé Purina?

I chose to work at Nestlé Purina because of the opportunities I felt were present and available to me. I also relate to the core values of the company and enjoy hiring for a company that I can relate to personally. I stay at Nestlé Purina for many of the same reasons, but since joining I have had the opportunity to meet and interact with a wide variety of people. I feel truly part of a team that is moving in the same direction to accomplish our goals. Further, I have never met so many people that have a passion for what they do. It makes it exciting everyday.

What's your favorite or most rewarding part of working for Nestlé Purina?

The most rewarding part for me is making a match between a candidate and a position- when I know it is a great match for the person, the job and the Company.

If you knew then, what you know now, what's one piece of advice you would give to someone coming into the company?

My experience has been that everyone is here to help, here to educate. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and seek people out.

What's something about working with Nestlé Purina that has surprised you?

The passion people have. Everyone is truly dedicated to following and implementing best practices.

Which ones? I have 9 dogs and 4 cats.

What is the most exciting thing you are involved in outside of work?

I’m not sure about exciting, but something I really enjoy is the volunteer work I do at a local shelter. At least once a month, I bring adoptable dogs to local pet supply stores and facilitate adoptions. It’s always fun seeing a dog go home to a family!

What items in your office could you not live without?

Probably my notebook- I write everything in it from meeting notes to "To Do" lists, and a bag of Raisinets, of course!

How has Nestlé Purina PetCare Company helped you grow personally?

The work/ life balance has given me more quality time with my son and husband. This is something I now realize I hadn’t ever had in previous positions.
