 Management Trainee Positions


The manufacturing management trainee program is an exciting opportunity for you to develop leadership skills in your area of focus in a manufacturing environment. These entry level positions are in one of several of our manufacturing facilities located in the United States. The main objective of this program is to provide management trainees with a broad exposure through a rotational program, building skills to allow advancement within the Company.

  • Length
    • 18-24 months
  • Majors
    • Quality Assurance: Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Industrial Engineering, Animal Companion program or other scientific disciplines
    • Engineering: Engineering
    • Production: Engineering, Engineering Technology, Food Science, Animal Science or Companion Animal Program
    • Accounting: Accounting
    • Information Systems: Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration
    • Human Resources: Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field
    • Supply Chain: Focus on Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related field of study
  • Year in College
    • You must be a graduating senior OR already have completed the required degree
  • Compensation
    • This is a salaried, full time position with benefits

Career Path

  • 0-6 months: Training
    • Rotation through all disciplines
    • Complete Trainee report detailing experiences through rotation
  • 6-12 months: Core Focus
    • Move into your discipline – specific area
    • Lead and participate in projects of increasing size and scope, as well as supervise people
  • 12-24 months: Supervision and Project Work
    • If you have fulfilled the needs and requirements of the Trainee Program you will be promoted to an Assistant position.
    • You will have the opportunity to travel to other locations/ factories and complete training segments in the discipline-specific area.
  • Program Completion
    • Assistants are promoted to Assistant Managers
    • Relocated to any Company location based on the needs of the business.
