Overview of Veterinary Team

As part of the vet team you will have the opportunity to enrich the bond between pets, people, and veterinarians through nutrition, education, and professional development. There are three strategic teams that support the veterinary business:

Veterinary Sales Team

Veterinary Sales is dedicated to bringing the highest level of service to Veterinary clinics through our products, programs and people. We are committed to providing the best possible nutrition for pets with our Purina Veterinary Diets and Pro Plan product lines. We hire people who can operate in a highly competitive environment, are comfortable talking to professionals and are self-starters. We support the overall Nestlé Purina business by helping Veterinarians and Veterinary professionals have a positive experience with Purina.

Veterinary Marketing Team

Veterinary Marketing is responsible for marketing the Purina Veterinary Diets brand, Purina Pro Plan, and Purina‘s corporate and product brands to the veterinary audience. The scope of work includes traditional branding, equity building, technical marketing, trade shows/conferences, and business-to-business marketing.

Business Development Group

The Business Development Group is made up of three departments: Influential Marketing, Trade Development and Training. We work closely with all 28 US veterinary schools, give technical support to the sales organization, and develop and execute training initiatives and trade programs. Our team works across both the academic and private practice veterinary world, engaging everyone from key influencers in the pet nutrition field to small animal veterinary practices.

  • Business Development Group:

Based on education, background and experience additional opportunities may be available in the following departments: Veterinary Sales, Sales - Customer Development Group, Market Development Organization or increased responsibility within the Business Development Group.
