The Nestlé Market Audit team's main objective is to assess the strength of
the Company's system of internal controls and to identify areas where existing practices
do not sufficiently mitigate risks to Nestlé's business activities.
The Audit team typically works in groups of 3 to 5 professionals to identify
areas where internal control processes require strengthening.

- Domestic Auditor — Perform audits as a member of our U.S. audit team.
Travel to factories, distribution centers, head office sites, and sales offices
throughout the USA
- International Auditor — After working with the domestic audit team
and learning Nestlé's business model and internal audit methodology, join
the Nestlé worldwide audit team, and further develop your analytical and
leadership skills while traveling the Nestlé world
- Senior Auditor — Lead audit teams in the review of Company operations.
Team leaders function as project managers and provide the primary liaison between
the audit group and local business unit management

Audit Internship Program
A Team Environment
Nestlé Market Audit interns participate in real-life audit projects and work along side
internal audit professionals over the course of this 10-week internship. Key responsibilities
and activities performed by our interns include:
- Participation by actively performing all aspects of team-based internal control reviews
- Performing research on best practices and assessing business risks in core company processes
- Designing and executing detailed testing to assess the strength of key internal controls
- Presentation of findings and recommendations in meetings with team members and clients
- Maintaining and enhancing content on our departmental intranet site
- Supporting completion of other audit department projects and reporting initiatives as assigned
- High-Impact Projects
High Impact Projects:
Our internship program is as 'real-life' as it gets. Interns participate
in up to three key projects over the ten week period that challenges them to perform in depth analysis,
assess business processes from a 'big picture' perspective, identify opportunities to enhance company
efficiency, and develop value-adding recommendations to be considered by all levels of company management.
Formal presentations of findings and recommendations are made to local, division, and executive management.
Performance Feedback:
Nestlé Market Audit provides interns with the formative, hands-on experience and feedback needed
to determine whether internal audit is the best place to jump-start their professional career. Coaching
and feedback from experienced auditors and members of our management team is a key part of every project.
Our team-auditing approach further ensures that interns will always have an experienced team member nearby
who can help answer questions and provide additional insights.
Who We Are Looking For:
Nestlé Market Audit is interested in hearing from candidates who:
- Have completed at least their sophomore year at an accredited college or university
- Are majoring in internal auditing, accounting, or a related business field of study
- Can commit to working at least 10 full-time weeks between the end of May and late August
- Will travel throughout the US and Canada as needed and up to 30%
- Enjoy analysis and are detail focused
- Are able to remain focused and composed when under pressure
- Possess strong oral & written communication skills
- Thrive working in a fast paced team environment
- Have a sound knowledge of internal audit theory
- Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
