Library and Information Services
LIS is a four-person team of experienced information providers whose purpose is to source and disseminate published information in all formats to Nestlé Purina PetCare Company. While housed in a modern and inviting state-of-the-art on-campus facility, LIS delivers products and services to all of Nestlé Purina PetCare Company, to include off-site locations worldwide. A robust collection of books, journals, newspapers, reports and tables of contents representing scientific, business and trade literature exists in both hard copy and electronic media. Via desktop access through the LIS community on Petnet, users can search LIS holdings as well as connect to searching gateways linking them to the world’s published literature. Ad hoc and current awareness searches executed by searching professionals and obtained from web-based subscription databases give users first looks at the latest developments in their field. The team also provides business intelligence and analysis and is linked to electronic networks of libraries and document suppliers in countries worldwide.
