Audit Internships
A Team Environment
Nestlé Market Audit interns participate in real-life audit projects and work along side internal audit professionals over the course of this 10-week internship. Key responsibilities and activities performed by our interns include:
- Participation by actively performing all aspects of team-based internal control reviews
- Performing research on best practices and assessing business risks in core company processes
- Designing and executing detailed testing to assess the strength of key internal controls
- Presentation of findings and recommendations in meetings with team members and clients
- Maintaining and enhancing content on our departmental intranet site
- Supporting completion of other audit department projects and reporting initiatives as assigned
- High-Impact Projects
High Impact Projects: Our internship program is as 'real-life' as it gets. Interns participate in up to three key projects over the ten week period that challenges them to perform in depth analysis, assess business processes from a 'big picture' perspective, identify opportunities to enhance company efficiency, and develop value-adding recommendations to be considered by all levels of company management. Formal presentations of findings and recommendations are made to local, division, and executive management.
Performance Feedback: Nestlé Market Audit provides interns with the formative, hands-on experience and feedback needed to determine whether internal audit is the best place to jump-start their professional career. Coaching and feedback from experienced auditors and members of our management team is a key part of every project. Our team-auditing approach further ensures that interns will always have an experienced team member nearby who can help answer questions and provide additional insights.
